My long awaited (?) 3rd biomech. This time I used a cool pic from Janina ( [link]) to whom I want to deeply thank for the help.
I tried something a little more complex, a little darker and a little more Gigeresque this time. I had like 50% finished around 5 months ago and then I got very lazy and last sunday I decided I HAD to finish the thing, so here it is. For the curious, the hardware was made with 3d max 5 and then blended and colored in Photoshop. Neither the modeling nor the blending are that great, but overall i'm happy with it (though I should adjust more than a couple of things there but WTF) and I hope it will serve you as a wallpaper. I wonder where those tentacle/tubes are connected to at the other end  Heavily inspired on the great Giger, Matrix, Bjork's video Hunter and Orgy's video Dreams in digital, from which I borrowed the title of the piece. If I REALLY have the sthrengh later, I will do the proper color and blending adjustments but for today I give up! |
